Does the Human Brain Generate Electricity?
Sunday / 13 November 2022

The human brain is comprised of over a billion nerve cells called neurons

It would take an individual about 3,000 years to count them all. Whenever a person smiles, moves, thinks, or dreams, an electrical impulse moves between the neurons. This flow of electrical signals never stops. Countless messages move in the neurons traveling along highways known as nerves. Each neuron generates a small amount of electricity, and when combined, these currents can power an energy-efficient light bulb.
