The second edition of the National Open Skills Competition in 3D Printing was held at the Amol Technical and Vocational Training Center. According to the public relations department of the Soka Group, the event was proudly sponsored and supported by Amol Wire and Cable Company.
The competition took place on July 25th, with the participation of 25 top talents from across the country. The main goal of the event was to introduce this emerging field to the youth, encourage skill development in 3D printing, and select the most talented individuals at the national level.
Young people, with their energy and innovative ideas, are the driving force behind progress. At Amol Wire and Cable Company, we believe in empowering the younger generation and fostering a positive synergy through our support. We hope that by investing in and encouraging the youth of this land, we can contribute to their growth and development.
It is worth noting that the Amol Technical and Vocational Training Center launched the most advanced 3D printer workshop in Mazandaran Province in 2022. Since then, several specialized training courses have been held for enthusiasts and professionals in this field.
Despite its wide range of applications—including in manufacturing, automotive, home appliances, architecture, and medical sectors—3D printing remains relatively underdeveloped in the country. This competition was a valuable step toward raising awareness and expanding professional engagement in this vital and futuristic industry.
Valuable prizes were awarded to the winners of the competition.
